BITE (an acronym for ‘By Independent Thinkers for Environmental progress’) Studios was created to bridge the gap between eco-fashion and luxury fashion as an answer to increasing demand for lasting, quality, and beautiful fashion.

The BITE Studios team strives to be as ethical and ecological as possible in all facets of its operation. They’re ever conscious that in the realm of sustainable fashion, they need to be continuously improving and educating themselves, as the industry is growing and evolving at the lightspeed pace of broader technological and societal advancements.

We love everything they do, but the main highlights of their efforts, that are especially dear to our hearts are:

  • Making sure that every person involved in their supply chain is paid a fair, living wage.

  • Putting meticulous effort into choosing fabrics that are sustainable in all senses of the word. For example, they favor European suppliers to minimize the need for lengthy transportation and make sure that they work only with natural fibers and organic cotton.

  • Breaking down the elitism of sustainable fashion.
BITE studios strive to retain prices that are accessible to a wider demographic than most sustainable luxury brands.

  • Looking for a solution to create durable, round-the-year appropriate pieces to limit the seasonality and temporality of clothing.

  • Offering a lifetime of free repairs for each piece they sell. They also pay 20% of the original price for worn designs which are then resold on an archive sale for a discount.

Aside from shopping on their online store, you can buy BITE studio’s pieces at their Fenwicks, London boutique, and in Stockholm’s NK department store.
